Photoshop Tutorial -
Workspace (MUST WATCH)

Students will learn how to use and edit the PS workspace.

Class Assignment - Students will watch the video tutorial and try these techniques on their own. No upload activity for this.

Beach Scene

Students will learn how to use the selection tools (pen & magic wand) to create a new collage image using multiple images.

Class Assignment - Students will complete the tutorial and upload to the classroom once completed. Be unique in your final design.

2.Photoshop Tutorial -
Creating Patterns and arrays

Students will learn how to create custom patterns and circular arrays.

Class Assignment - Students will complete the tutorial and upload to the classroom once completed.

Try to use the pattern to fill shapes, backgrounds etc.

Try to make arrays that overlap and that do not overlap.

3.Photoshop Tutorial -
Logo Part 1 (Hand in After Part 2)

Students will learn how to create shapes, use blending options, mask out elements and use adjustment layers.

Class Assignment - Students will complete the tutorial and upload to the classroom once completed.

You can use the image provided or find one of your own.

Students will learn how to add text on and off a path, masking and adjustment layers.

Class Assignment - Students will complete the tutorial and upload to the classroom once completed.

Students will learn how to create backgrounds, use blending options, mask out elements and use adjustment layers.

Photoshop Tutorial - Text

Students will learn how to use the text tool to create blocks of text, rotate and scale. As well as create arcs through the text warp tool. From there students can add blending options to their text.

Also discussed - History box and how to go back multiple steps.

No need to upload this video tutorial to the classroom.
