Premiere Pro & Rush - Tutorials

For students that are using Premiere RUSH and not the Pro version, please watch this video tutorial. > CLICK HERE

using Premiere Rush (1-6).

You will watch the first 4 videos without completing any activities.

 

Then, the following videos will have activities that you will need to recreate and upload to the classroom.

Students will learn how to navigate and adjust the workspace.

Students will also learn how to import files and add them to a sequence.

Students will learn how to shorten and cut clips.

Editing directly on the timeline and editing through the source window.

3. Export as an .mp4
4. Upload your .mp4 to the classroom for completion marks.

1.   Premiere CC Tutorial -
Fade In & Outs + Video Transitions

Students will learn 3 different ways to fade in & out.
(Key-framing on the timeline / Effects Window - Opacity Key-framing / Video Transitions - Dip to Black)

Students will also learn how to create cross dissolves and other video transitions.

3.   Premiere CC Tutorial -
Cropping #1 

Students will learn how to create that dramatic video effects of eyes over eyes. This technique can be applied to any cropping needed.

Speed / Slow Down Clips 

Students will learn how to speed and slow down their clips using speed duration.

5.   Premiere CC Tutorial -
Motion Graphics 

Students will learn how to use  .png images and move them around their project. . 

NOTE: Premiere RUSH does NOT have the ability to Key Frame movements. However, they do have built in transitions that
you can try.

You could also have your logo move around the video using multiple copies of your image.

6.   Premiere CC Tutorial -
Keyframing Audio

Students will learn how to fade audio in and out and minor level editing. 

I have not had a chance to make my audio videos yet. This is a good introductory one. 

Premiere RUSH can not keyframe audio like the Pro version. However, there are still some great techniques that you can do.

Fixing Shaky Footage

Students will learn how to use the Warp Stabilizer to fix shaky footage.
